Monday’s Moments…

I lift up my eye to the mountains – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth” Psalms 121:1-2

This was our theme verse yesterday at our annual Country Church Sunday as we were reminded once again of God’s Faithfulness through song and scripture. We were blessed to have had a full house along with some fabulous food and fellowship. Thank you everyone who served, sang, and invited someone to join us – God was and still is good… Yee Haw & Amen!

This Thursday come and join us for the cutest little Fall Harvest Parade you’ve ever seen, as our SonShine Preschoolers will be wearing their costumes along with their baskets ready for candy as they parade around our church facility. We purposely don’t refer to this as “Halloween”, but do make this a teachable moment for these little ones as we learn about giving and receiving. The fun starts at 10:00am, so bring a bag of candy to share with these little ones and anticipate a blessing! (BTW – they really like anything Reese’s)

Also, this Wednesday at 6:00pm we begin a new study in the book of Mark… join us as we look at the Ministry and Miracles of the Messiah in what may have been the first gospel written. (Fun Fact: Mark was not an apostle, but was a faithful follower of Jesus and a missionary companion of Paul.)

Coming up Sunday evening November 10th“Master’s Voice” will be in concert at FBC… You will enjoy their music and tight vocal harmonies as they lead us in an inspirational evening of music. Doors will open at 5:00pm, Concert at 6:00pm – A Love Offering will be taken.

Finally, this Saturday is time change as we “Fall Back” one hour. Don’t forget to set your clocks and we’ll see you Sunday!
