Monday’s Moments…
“Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” Hebrews 13:2
Yesterday at FBC we explored what the bible actually says about Angels and their purpose… Hollywood has certainly exploited some of our ideas and perceptions of angels giving us a misunderstanding of what they are and what they do. So, as we conclude our series “What Every Believe Should Know About the Bible”, this Sunday we’ll end with how the Holy Angels and Un-Holy Angels contend in the biblical yet unseen spiritual warfare around us, and how the authority of Jesus, along with biblical instruction will always rule.
Join us this Sunday at FBC for this series-ending conclusion and invite a friend!
In two weeks, we will be honoring our student seniors and their achievement of graduating from High School. Brad Bennet, who has been our MBC Evangelism Director and founder of Real Encounter Ministries, will be speaking that Sunday in worship, as well as the Baccalaureate service at the High School that same afternoon at 2:00pm. Brad has been on America’s Got Talent and has traveled throughout the country engaging students with stunt shows and various school assemblies in sharing with students the gospel of Christ. Be sure to come and encourage our students, and hear Brad’s message on Sunday, May 3rd at FBC!
