Monday’s Moments…

“Men of Galilee, why do you stand here looking into the sky?  This same Jesus who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”  Acts 1:11

These words were spoken by the angels who reminded the disciples (and us) that this same Jesus will be coming back again… this was our Bible 101 lesson yesterday, to be reminded that the next event to happen in biblical prophecy is Jesus’ return.  It’s important that while we Wait for His coming, we Witness, we Work, we Worship, and we Walk with Jesus daily…. This is the mission of the church.  Join us this Wednesday evening as we further unpack this lesson and how it applies to us today.

In the meantime, check out this YouTube link (“This Same Jesus”, Master’s Voice) for some uplifting encouragement: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APGsInTIdtM&list=RDAPGsInTIdtM&start_radio=1

Also, this past Sunday Irene King came forward to join our FBC family… what a blessing, welcome Irene! 😊
