Monday’s Moments…

“Your statutes are wonderful; therefore I obey them. The unfolding of your words gives light; if gives understanding to the simple… Direct my footsteps

according to your word; let no sin rule over me. (Psalm 119:129-130 & 133)

What a wonderful crowd and blessing it was this past Sunday at FBC as we honored our mother’s and also lifted up the DeGrace family with daughter Faith’s baby dedication.

Let’s continue to pray for this family as they move to the Washington state area, and be thankful for all our mom’s whether here on earth or in heaven.

This Sunday during worship we will hold our 2nd annual SonShine Preschool Graduation, and are excited for these children and their families as they join us for worship. It has been a joy for me to interact with these kids each week and to watch them grow, and learn about Jesus. Because we are a learning Preschool, this graduation is significant in these little lives as it better prepare them for kindergarten, and is the first of several academic steps to come. Please join us this Sunday as we celebrate their achievement and welcome their families to FBC!

This Wednesday evening is the final session of First Kids of this school year. It will start up again when school starts back up. However, we will still have Wednesday evening Prayer and Bible Study for the adults at 6:00pm, and the youth will also continue to meet in the annex as they prepare for camp and summer activities.
