Monday’s Moments…

“He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:53)

This is Holy Week – a week of remembering Jesus… his sacrifice, our sin, and the accomplishments of the cross.  Come Sunday, we will recognize the resurrection and the power and exclamation of what the empty tomb means for us and the hope we have Him.  Take a moment or two and pray for our upcoming Easter Worship Service… that the Lord would be honored, and someone would come to know the power of his rescue and redemption.  Also, invite someone to attend Easter Worship with you.  Bring them to breakfast and invite them to sit with you during our time of bible study and worship together.

This is a wonderful opportunity to be Jesus, and share Jesus with our community.  My Easter message will be simple, yet specific in illustrating the love and power of Jesus’ redemptive work.  Let’s celebrate and share the good news together!

May we all be humbled and aware this week as we acknowledge the cost of our sin, and the unconditional grace given.
