Monday’s Moments…

“But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect…” 1 Peter 3:15

Answers have been hard to come by these last few days… We’ve come from a season of Joy, to a New Year that has had more than our share of trouble, especially within the FBC Family… below you will find several prayer request, needs and concerns as we lift up those who are struggling and suffering. But even amid the trouble, we DO have an answer and we DO have hope – Our hope and answer in in the name Jesus – King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

With that in mind, I’ll be sharing a message this Sunday with the topic – “Why Does God Allow Suffering?” Now more than ever we need to be reminded of God’s provision, plan, and purpose. Come and see what the bible says about suffering and how God uses suffering in our lives for a purpose as “all things do work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose.” (Rom. 8:28) Come and join us as we worship and study together, and bring a friend!

Bitterweet days for sure… However, this is what we prepare for as a follower of Christ. We are the sheep of His pasture – our great Shepherd is able and aware!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Prov 3:5-6
